Watching digital television without additional subscriptions?

It is possible!

How to receive digital channels.

By connecting a coaxial cable to the television connection of your room, you are able to receive digital television. The television will need to have a build in decoder (DVB-C receiver). Most televisions have a DVB-C receiver built in nowadays.

About 70 digital channels will be available without having to use an external decoder or other devices. Aside of that, it is of course possible to use a (second-hand) external (for example of the brand Humax). An overview of the available channels can be found on the website: https://www.ziggo.nl/televisie/zenderoverzicht/ on the tab “Zonder smartcard”

The settings you need to use for the free digital channels are:

You live in a former UPC provider area.
You will need to use the following settings:
Select Operator / Provider: UPC or Ziggo (former UPC)
Network frequency: 164000 (or 164 or 16400).
Network ID: 04444 or 4444.
Modulation: 64QAM.
